Honor's next X60-series Android smartphone is tipped to be the slimmest one yet, despite having a battery significantly larger in size than that of the flagship Magic7 Pro. The device might have improvements in other areas compared to its predecessor, but might also have its weaknesses.

The legendary leaker Digital Chat Station claims that the Honor X60 GT might fall into the category of new Android smartphone that re-define the term "slim and light" with batteries that are the opposite on paper. The device is backed to pack no less than 6,300mAh in terms of rated capacity, yet be no more than 7.7 millimeters in thickness.
Therefore, it might act as a more affordable alternative to the upcoming GT Pro, although it might charge a little slower at 80W.
The GT might also have a display of about 6.7 inches in diagonal length. compared to 6.78 inches in its forebear. The flat, supposedly 1.5K+ 120Hz LTPS screen is also said to have an ultra-high peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
The X60 series' new flagship is also tipped to have potentially in-demand features such as X-axis linear haptics, stereo dual speakers, an IR blaster and "multi-function" NFC to go with the OIS for its 50MP main camera missing in the X50 GT. It might also have an improved (if not quite flagship-level) IP65 rating.
The X60 GT might also have a decently large 5514mm2 vapor chamber to help cool its internals - even though that might not matter as much if it really is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC - same as the X50 GT.
Its successor is also now thought to ditch its racing-stripe finish for an unusual new cross-hatched effect in blue or silver in addition to a third plain black colorway.
